Hughey replied: "Please don't go as lady gaga.
Being the corporate tool she is, all her costumers are designed to be all small and tight to expose her breasts and butt, and seeing a 10 year old dressed like that is just plain wrong.
She doesn't wear anything that isn't skimpy, the record companies that are cashing in on her wont let her.
Shes got a big ugly nose, so a prosthetic rubber nose might do, and just dye you hair blonde and wear an obscene amount of make up and you might look like her.
Don't you have an Imagination? your 10!, you should have some kind of Imagination!, do you have to go as just some singer?"
Connie T replied: "Either:
1.
Get a really blonde wig that is quite thick and shoulder-length
Wear nude lipstick
Wear a nude swimming costume
Wear nude/white tights under that
(add a tutu if too skimpy)
Leather jacket with padded shoulders
2.
Get a black swimming costume and add glitter to it.
Get Mom and Dad to help paper máche some diamond shapes in tin foil
Wear black tights (and tutu optional)
Wear black sparkly ballet pumps
Get that mask and get an Alice band but add those diamonds
Seriously though, you are ten..!"
Is being an old lady for Halloween lame? My friend was gonna be 1 with me but now shes went 2 party city and bought one instead -_- anyways, all my friends are being the slutty short skirt costumes, im not. . . i was planning on being an old lady . . .idk should i change my costume or keep it the same. . .
bkern replied: "I think its kinda lame! To original if ya ask me! I wanted to be burt or Ernie from Sesame Street! But if ya like it...then sure, why not? Its ur choice."
What is an appropriate Halloween costume for a 12 year old? I know that I'm a little old for Halloween, but I still want to dress up- it's fun to trick the old ladies into thinking you're 10! What should I dress up as, though?
Ethan T replied: "Hey there! Trick or Treat while you still can, if I went trick or treating they would definatly give me some funny looks ha ha. Any ways, not to sure if you would require womens sizes or teen sizes, but I took a look for you...hope this helps...
A dead prom queen, you are probably going to be hitting high school soon so it just seems to fit...
You could also try the "cute but not kid cute" under construction costume,
I also found a cool teen maids costume, it is kinda traditional but for sure not tacky,
Lastly you could be a pirate, and make the old ladies walk the plank lmao!
I found those costumes at a site called CostumeFind.com, anywhom, here is a direct link to the page I found those costumes on:
You may also want to check out their womens costumes, I pulled those from their teen costume section. Here is a link to their womens costume section:
Hope that give you a few cool ideas, best wishes and have a happy Halloween :-)

15yr old halloween costume for school dance? i need a halloween costume for a school dance. i dont want to be something so scary or ugly that no one will dance with me. haha, i was going to be a goth princess, but i cant seem to do the makeup so it looks good. how do you apply goth makeup?
and if you cant explain that, then what are some other costumes?
i wanted to wear one of my dresses, so something simple like a princess would be good. then i can stop at walmart and grab a tiara quickly, or maybe a secretary with a skirt suit, but i dont want to be something like an old lady or a vampire or a ghost. if you can give me any ideas, that i can pull right out of my closet with some makeup, thatd be great! thanks!
(pictures are good too)
Denise C replied: "Got this idea from my son who is going to a Halloween bash where there is a contest involved. This is a very cheap and really cute getup. Go and get a pig nose and pig ears at the Halloween store. Stuff some tissue up in the nose, wear a pink bathrobe and see if you can get some plain syringes (with no needles) and attach them to the robe and you are dressed like the swine flu."

My daughter is going to dress-up as an old lady for halloween.? We want to make this costume as comical as possible and want to add a butt somehow. I know that these can be purchased at halloween shops, but I'd like to make my own, if possible. Partially because I'm trying to save money and secondly because she is very tiny for her age and I highly doubt that I would ever find one that would fit her. Any suggestions or ideas would be greatly appreciated! THANKS!
Kerri replied: "if you have her wear a pair of tight exercise shorts under her costume, you can make a roundish or oval shaped pillow that is her size and stuff it in the back of her shorts. fun thing is-you can make it as plush as you want, so if she wants a HuGe butt it wont be a problem."
Lin replied: "If you have any old pantyhose you are totally set! My mom did this for my dad when he was acting at a local theater, and it was hilarious.
1: Sew the entrance to the legs shut. Don't cut them off, you need them later.
2: Sew most of the way along the top opening of the hose, leaving about two inches unsewn at the corner.
3: Stuff the pocket you have just made fairly full. Leave room for some give- you don't want to split the hose with step 5.
4: Sew up the opening you left unsewn in step 2.
5: Take some yarn and wrap it tightly around the middle of the stuffed area (it helps if you use the crotch of the nylons as a guide) so that you have a butt shape.
6: To wear, tie the legs a couple of times around the waist, then wrap them between the legs and secure them to the bottom of the butt with safety pins. (Girls would be better off wearing the butt over some shorts to prevent chafing around the legs and panty lines.)
This will fit pretty much everyone, and since it's tied and pinned rather than sewn, it's a custom item that is easily removed if it gets too hot or annoying. Plus you can cover it with a pillow sham and use it to nap on later- yay, multitasking!"
Halloween costume for Mommy, my 21 month old daughter is going to be a lady bug, what can I be? I want to match, but not be the same things. Preferably something I can do myself or only buy odds and ends.
Gabby replied: "Bumvlebee headband and yellow shirt black pants"
carrieo2guns replied: "A butterfly would be really neat and go well with a lady bug. ☺ Or a flower. A flower would be neat too! ☺"
Emmy Lee replied: "Miss Spider! That'd be so cute!

•a l i c e•[love] replied: "Aww, a ladybug. How cute.
-Butterfly
-Ladybug
-Caterpillar
-Spider(like, a cute spider. not a gross one)"
Don't Trickle on Me replied: "If you just want to do something really simple, get a little headband with antennae on it and wear a red shirt. Or wear a green shirt with a flower headband."
My friend and I want to be old ladies for halloween, anything we should add to our costumes? We have dresses that are old looking, mine is coral pink and down to my ankles, I didn't see her's yet, we are going to wear lot of jewlery, bright red lip stick, bright blue eye shadow, big fake glasses, hats, scarfs, we might use halloween make up for some wrinkles, we're going to put her hair up in a bun unless it's cold, and most likely are going to try to curl my hair. Should we buy big purses and use them for our candy bags, or use our pumpkin sacks?
We're 12 and in seventh grade also.
(In school i'm going as a tops market associate because they want a career, person in history, or a character from literature.)
thanks and great ideas!and since Halloween is a friday I can powder my hair and wash it out the next morning instead of going to school with messed up white-ish hair.
justkeepgiggling replied: "omg that's a great costume! I think you should do big purses! I would add a cane or something!!"
Cindy O replied: "Maybe you could dye your hair white or gray, they sell gray hairspray at the CVS near my house, you should check at the one near you. If I were you I would go with the big purses!"
h249fan replied: "I did that once when I was your age! I added some baby powder to my hair to make it look gray. It was easier than painting it and easy to get out. I love the big purses for the treat bags idea. make sure you get some chunky shoes to wear. A cane or walker would be funny, but hard to carry around. Make sure you walk slow and call everyone dear or sonny (if it's a man). Hope you have fun!!"
Sarah [Cullen] replied: "I was an old lady for Hallaween last year :D
I Here are a few things you might want to add:
A cane or walker (i used my grandmas! lol)
I also walked bent over and put a pillow in my back so it looked like i had a hunch back lol. you could also buy a grey wig or somehow get your hair gray
i like the idea of big glasses :D
good luck!"
